Update on My Condition

I am feeling a little better, physically, at least.

I have some stitches, lots of bruises, and a couple of cracked ribs.

As for the baby, we probably lost it beforehand, but we don't really know what happened. According to the ultrasound that I had Friday, the dr said that the sac hadn't grown any more, that there was no heartbeat and no discernible fetus. Since the sac was already small the week before and the heartbeat had been low, it is his guess that it just stopped growing for whatever reason.

My ob didn't really do anything today except to confirm the readings of Friday's u/s and tell me what to expect.

I haven't actually miscarried yet... I have another appointment the first of April. Hopefully, things will progress on their own. If not, I will schedule a d/c.

Thank you to everyone that has offerred their support and well-wishes.

I know what you mean about Bono. We lived there for a year and a half.

Yes, I can technically have more children, but I have PCOS which is a form of infertility. It makes it very difficult to get pregnant (they told me for 10 years that it wouldn't happen without medical intervention). Ihat is why I was so excited about this baby.
